Kaylee Launder is a photographer from Melbourne. Throughout her years at Swinburne University she studied a Bachelor of Design, majoring in the areas of Photomedia and Communication Design. Her university years have equipped her with skills and applied knowledge ready for industry, where she has built expertise in areas of brand and identity, packaging design, and photography. Developing a strong passion and exploration for still life imagery and product photography.
Kaylee’s photography work particularly focuses on her interest and curiosity for the ways that still life photography can evoke certain emotions and convey messages using inanimate objects. She enjoys combining this with set designs, colour schemes, lighting and various compositions, with the aim to create unique outcomes that engage with the audience.
She is also passionate about designing for a purpose and addressing current social issues and understanding cultural environments and spaces in which the design work is being displayed. Sustainability and inclusivity formulate a key part of her photography and design work and are important values to her.
Kaylee hopes her work can share important messages about topics close to her heart and connect with viewers through images to raise awareness and support.
